Base is cheap and fast, so thousands of new coins launch there every day. Paste the contract address (0x…) and see in seconds whether typical rug pull warning signs are present.

Base is an Ethereum layer 2. A new coin gets a pool, usually on Uniswap or Aerodrome. In a classic rug pull the developer pulls that pool, and the coin can hardly be sold afterwards. Other variants: the contract allows minting new tokens, blocking sells or raising the fee to 100% later.
Common ones are copies of well-known Base coins like BRETT or TOSHI, coins that claim to be “renounced” while the owner can still change everything through a proxy, and pools of a few thousand dollars that get pulled after the first rush.
DexScreener or BaseScan show the contract address (starts with 0x). Copy it and paste it above. Base is detected automatically.
No, it is just one warning sign less. Taxes, contract rights and distribution can still be dangerous. The check shows all points together.
